Kento Yamada

The father of the Yamada family working as a graphic designer. He cares for Chi very much and frequently is buying toys and snacks, and worrying if she is lonely at home. He also is forced to do things like bring Chi to the vet or trim Chi's claws. As a result Chi sees him as the bad guy occasionally, but she gets over it relatively quickly.
